This Dual Shield RG6 coaxial cable features 2 layers of shielding for protection from interference. It has a Copper clad steel center conductor which means the actual core is steel with a thin copper cladding around that. The signal for cable TV travels along the outside of the center conductor, so the copper cladding is all you need for this type of installation. If your installation requires any power to be sent down the coax line, you will want to check out our options for Pure copper center conductor coaxial cables. This cable is a great option for signals that carry audio and video only.
